Bill Heap is a partner in the law firm of Weber, Heap, Ayres & Greene, P.C. and was born in 1948 in Sullivan, Sullivan County, Indiana. Bill has been a resident of Robinson, Crawford County, Illinois, since 1982.

Bill is a 1966 graduate of Sullivan High School, Sullivan, Indiana, a 1971 graduate of Indiana State University, Terre Haute, Indiana and a 1979 graduate of the John Marshall Law School, Chicago, Illinois.

Bill was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 1979 and has practiced law continuously since.

Practice Areas

Bill has over 30 years of experience in the general practice of law, having handled virtually every aspect of civil law, and is currently the managing partner of the law firm's satellite office in Newton, Jasper County, Illinois. Bill has extensive experience in family law, including divorce, adoptions and child custody. Bill also has substantial experience in the areas of estate planning, estate tax planning and probate and wills. Bill is an issuing agent for Attorney's Title Guarantee Fund and as such has many years experience with real estate title insurance, real estate contracts, real estate sales and auctions involving real estate and personal property. Bill has also over the years represented numerious financial institutions and has extensive experience in mortgage foreclosure law, including prosecuting foreclosures and defending against them.
