Max is a 1970 graduate of Lawrenceville High School, Lawrenceville, Illinois, a 1974 graduate of Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, Illinois and a 1977 graduate of Southern Illinois University Law School, Carbondale, Illinois.

Max was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 1977 and has practiced law continuously through the firm since August 1977

Max has over 33 years of experience in the general practice of law having handled virtually every aspect of civil law from Adoption to Zoning. Max has extensive experience in preparing wills and trusts, estate planning, administering estates and prosecuting and defending estate and trust litigation. In addition to working almost daily with real estate and title insurance matters, Max has successfully completed hundreds of divorces representing both male and female clients. Max also has substantial experience representing both private commercial entities as well as public entities, including cities, villages, hospital districts, fire protection districts, park districts and library districts.
